QIDP/Team Manager

 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Leads the interdisciplinary team in the development and implementation of the total program, service and support plan. Actively supervises all members of the residential service staff. Provides case management services, including social supports, linkages with agencies and active involvement of families. Serves as an advocate for quality of life. Fulfills all functions of a Qualified Intellectual Disabilites Professional or Program Specialist as defined by the applicable regulations.

 SCOPE: Team serves from 8 to 18 individuals with developmental disabilities with a staff of from 8 to 20. Programs operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Residential Programs (for the unit of assignment)

 CONTACI'S: Individuals with disabilities, Elwyn personnel, representatives of County Intellectual Disabilites Service Agencies, families, advocates, friends of the individuals served, visitors, vendors, consultants and regulatory agency representatives.

 EDUCATION: Meets educational requirements of the Program Specialist or QIDP as applied to the specific program. Bachelor's degree in Human Service field preferred.

 EXPERIENCE: One year of experience with individuals who have intellectual disabilites. A total of five years human service professional and managerial experience with a minimum of two years supervisory experience. Valid driver's license and safe driving record and continuous maintenance of same.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Neat appearance, nominal physical demands, no lifting restrictions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
